Superlative Autosport was established in 2008 by a team of the world’s leading automobile engineering and software specialists with decades of experience on both the street and on the race track. This experience inspired Superlative Autosport to develop at the most advanced engine and transmission software revisions available for all high-end European automobiles.
An Electronic Control Unit (ECU) re-map means much better performance and control for the vehicle owner including improved throttle response along with gains in torque and horsepower. Speed governors can be removed, custom rev-limit levels adjusted and custom programming can be performed for aftermarket exhaust systems. Better fuel efficiency is often a byproduct of tuning achieved by fine-tuning the spark advance and trimming the fuel delivery to its optimum level.
Countless hours of road, track, chassis dyno and engine dynamometer testing go into the software offered for your vehicle. Superlative Autosport considers both extracting the maximum performance out of each individual motor as well as the longevity of the engine and its components when developing their software. Gains of 15 – 30% increases in power can be achieved by optimizing the map stored on your ECU; a 10 – 15% improvement on fuel consumption is not uncommon when remapping a engine. Most ECU’s can be modified using the vehicle diagnostic port — no physical sign of alteration, therefore your warranty remains intact.
